Atos is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Group Controlling and Reporting to lead the global finance controlling function during a pivotal transformation phase. This executive will be instrumental in driving financial performance, transparency, and strategic decision-making across a €9B+ global technology organization. The role is central to Atos' ambition to become a global, AI-powered technology partner delivering secure, end-to-end digital journeys.
This leader will oversee group financial controlling, analysis, reporting, and performance management, ensuring alignment with Atos' SOTA (Simplify, Orchestrate, Trim, AI-enable) transformation strategy and Genesis turnaround plan.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
• Lead the design and execution of the Group's financial planning cycles (Budget, MTP, Forecasts) in alignment with strategic priorities and capital allocation frameworks.
• Provide forward-looking financial insights to the Executive Committee and Board, enabling data-driven decisions on growth, transformation, and M&A.
• Partner with the regional heads of finance to drive profitability, cost optimization, and working capital efficiency.
Group Performance Management
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful reporting across P&L, cash flow, KPIs, and operational metrics.
• Lead the preparation of Board and Audit Committee materials, including financial outlooks, risk assessments, and scenario modeling.
• Drive consistency and quality in financial reporting across geographies, business lines, and functions.
Transformation & Digital Finance Enablement
• Champion the finance function's contribution to the Genesis transformation program, including cost base optimization, delivery excellence, and AI-driven automation.
• Lead the evolution of finance IT systems (Clarity, IRIS, SAC, Rally) to support real-time analytics, predictive forecasting, and integrated performance dashboards.
• Embed AI and automation into controlling processes to enhance accuracy, speed, and strategic insight.
Governance, Compliance & External Reporting
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and regulatory requirements across all reporting entities.
• Support the preparation of financial disclosures for Universal Registration Documents (URD), investor relations, ESG and other reporting obligations.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure audit readiness and transparency.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
• Lead a high-performing, globally distributed team of finance professionals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and digital upskilling.
• Serve as a key member of the Group Finance Team and a trusted advisor to the regional CFOs and the larger Controlling and Reporting community.
Qualifications & Experience
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in multinational, matrixed organizations, ideally in technology, services, or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record in group controlling, FP&A, and financial reporting at scale (€5B+ revenue).
• Experience leading finance transformation, including ERP/BI systems, shared services, and automation.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, internal controls, and external reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to influence C-level stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
