Mission objectives and tasks

The goal of a DevOps Engineer will be to accelerate Application teams' ability to reliably and consistently deliver applications by developing standardized automation to control, build, and deploy managed services.

The main responsibility is to participate in the successful delivery of the end to end services with agreed SLAs to our customers by leveraging, improving, designing and implementing services that automate application provisioning.

You will:

• participate to the building of tools and processes to support the infrastructure.
• leverage scripting to build required automation and tools on an ad-hoc basis.
• actively interface with software developers, system engineers, project management and database administrators on projects.

Other responsibilities include ongoing issues such as capacity planning, change management, problem management, incident management, release management and performance improvement. You'll troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications

Soft Skills

• A strong level of English
• Passion about cutting edge technology and staying current with industry trends
• Great problem-solving skills with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems

Hard Skills

• Master's degree (Bac+5)
• Knowledge and relevant working experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Nice to have: Openshift)
• Knowledge and relevant working experience with Linux based systems
• Scripting experience with Bash and Python (Nice to have: Go)
• Knowledge and relevant working experience with CI/CD tools (Github, Jenkins..)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus)
• Knowledge and relevant working experience with Infrastructure As Code technologies (Terraform,..)
• Databases management and technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
• Knowledge and understanding of major Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Additional Information

The job position available is on site (south-east of France) with an hybrid modality of 35 hours/week (7 hours/day).
