DevOps / CloudAlice&Bob is taking up the challenge of building a universal quantum computer, from the first building block to the whole machine. We are an ambitious team pursuing the dream of harnessing the computational power of quantum mechanics. Come and join us on this extraordinary quest!
The company is located in Paris, France. The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit developed by Alice & Bob and its academic partners : the Schrödinger cat qubit.
We are looking for a Nanofab tool integration and process engineer to contribute to the set-up of our R&D nanofabrication facility.
Role
As a Nanofabrication Tool integration and process Engineer, you will be in charge of the acquisition and set-up of process equipment in our new cleanroom, covering the different steps of the process (sputtering, ebeam evaporation, ICP etching ...).
The crux of building a Universal Quantum Computer is the quality of its individual components, the qubits. In this context, you will have to interact with the rest of the nanofab team to master advanced fabrication and characterization techniques to reach state-of-the-art
performances.
The job implies frequent trips to partner technology platforms (Saclay, Paris), to equipment suppliers, and work in cleanroom
