The Opportunity

As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing the project to integrate our Issuing applications on the Google Cloud (GCP) environment. You will lead the DevOps stream, automate our software development and deployment processes, and ensure the reliability, security, stability, and scalability of our systems.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Streamline and automate software development and deployment processes
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Define and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Package and deploy applications using container technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue detection
• Integrate security practices into the DevOps process
• Foster collaboration and communication between development and operations teams
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Manage version control systems to track changes in code and configuration files

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what's next - people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, particularly within a cloud environment
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud and AWS, Azure
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI
• Understanding of container technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Proficiency in using version control systems, particularly Git
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
• Knowledge of security best practices, including vulnerability scanning and access control
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset
• Passion for leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation
