YOUR ROLE

Would you like to be the primary owner of our DevOps framework, ensuring standardized procedures are followed across all projects ?

If so, we have an opportunity to join our skilled and motivated Integration Architecture team as our DevOps Engineer.

As our DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with our development and operations teams to streamline our software development lifecycle and improve our ability to deliver high-quality software quickly and efficiently.

The role can be based in Puteaux, France or in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

DevOps Framework Ownership:

• You will design and implement the overall DevOps strategy, including the selection and integration of tools and technologies to support the software development lifecycle.

• You will develop, implement, and maintain standardized DevOps procedures and best practices.

• You will as the primary owner of the DevOps framework, ensuring consistent implementation and maintenance across all projects.

• You will provide guidance and support to team members on DevOps best practices and tools.

Documentation and Training:

• You will create comprehensive and detailed documentation of DevOps processes and standards.

• You will facilitate a clear understanding of DevOps methodologies and practices within the team and across the organization.

• You will conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on DevOps best practices and the use of relevant tools.

• You will establish, measure and enforce DevOps best practices and standards across the organization.*

CI/CD:

• You will ensure that CI/CD processes are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
• You will implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure that code changes are automatically built, tested, and deployed to production.

• You will ensure infrastructure is secure, resilient, and capable of supporting the application deployment.

• You will ensure that all DevOps practices comply with security and regulatory requirements. Integrate security into the software development lifecycle

• You will implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.

• You will analyze system performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

• You will identify areas for improvement within the DevOps lifecycle and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• You will be working closely with development, operations, and NetSec teams to ensure smooth deployment of software and applications. This often involves facilitating communication and cooperation between these teams.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You have a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent
• You have relevant certifications in DevOps or cloud technologies
• You have experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Having experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus
• You have understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• You have proficiency in tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• You have knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures.
• You have experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their DevOps services.
• You are familiar with microservices architecture and container orchestration.
• You have excellent documentation and communication skills.
• You have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
