Summary of the Role

Amadeus is seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our growing Hospitality Enterprise Architecture team. You will be essential in designing, deploying, and managing secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will leverage your expertise to craft robust architectures that meet performance, cost, and security requirements, supporting our digital transformation journey.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Translate business needs into effective and efficient Azure architectures.
• Select and configure appropriate Azure services based on specific requirements.
• Automate infrastructure deployments and oversee DevOps pipelines.
• Improve cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Implement robust security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Work with diverse teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and security professionals.
• Keep informed about the latest advancements in cloud technologies and Azure services.

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure or equivalent, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and present highly available and scalable solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with the latest cloud technologies.

Education:

• Degree in computer science and/or 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Azure architect-level certifications are an asset.

Bonus Points:

• Azure architect-level certifications.
• Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience in specific industries relevant to our company.
