Amadeus is seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Architect to join our growing Hospitality Enterprise Architecture team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and managing secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will leverage your expertise to craft robust architectures that meet performance, cost, and security requirements, supporting our digital transformation journey.

Your Main Responsibilities

Common accountabilities :

• Design and implement secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Translate business needs into technically sound and cost-effective Azure architectures
• Select and configure appropriate Azure services based on specific requirements
• Automate infrastructure deployments and manage DevOps pipelines
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency
• Implement strong security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and security professionals
• Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and Azure services

Specific accountabilities :

• 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure or equivalent, including compute, storage, networking, and security services
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings
• Proven ability to design, implement and present highly available and scalable solutions to non-technical audiences

• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest cloud technologies

Educatio n:

• Degree in computer science and/or 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Azure architect-level certifications are an asset.

Bonus Points :

• Azure architect-level certifications
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience in specific industries relevant to our company
