The Global Data and Platforms team is looking to enhance its UX practice to enhance user's benefits and overall experience of its digital products.
The Global UX Researcher is responsible for developing and executing UX research plans to gather data on user needs, behaviours, and experiences for HAVAS organization tools and platform to produce activable products or organizational impactful insights.
- S/He will work with closely the Product owners and adoption team to help to validate initiatives base on qualitative and quantitative user data S/He will produce facing users from various markets.
- S/He support the product team to validate business requirements with functional and technical specification thanks to those data.
- S/He provides expertise on how to develop and execute UX research, and on visualizing the generated insights.
- S/He contributes to the continuous improvement of working practices, application quality, tooling and agile processes.
- S/He will navigate a matrix organization where global & local stakeholders got various mindsets, roles and reporting lines.
Mission & Responsibilities
Functional:
- Develop and execute UX research plans to gather insights on user needs, behaviours, and experiences.
- Conduct interviews, user tests, and other research methods to collect qualitative and quantitative data.
- Analyse and synthesize research findings to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create detailed service blueprints and user stories to guide product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to ensure user-centred design.
- Present research findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX research and UX design.
UX Researcher Expertise:
- Conduct comprehensive UX research, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
- Utilize various research methodologies such as usability testing, card sorting, and A/B testing.
- Analyse user behaviour through methods like web analytics, heat maps, and session recordings.
- Create user personas, user journey maps, experience maps and service blueprints to sustain Design Thinking process.
- Use research tools such as Clarity, User Testing, Lookback, Hotjar, and SurveyMonkey.
- Ensure all research activities comply with privacy regulations and ethical standards.
Education & Language:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, etc.).
- Proven track record of 3+ year professional experience in a UX Research role, preferably in a tech environment.
- Comfortable with daily communications in French and English (C1-C2 level), Spanish (B1 level) would be appreciated.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- User Research Methodologies: Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, user testing, surveys, and data analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to gather, consolidate, and outline insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey research findings to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with designers, developers, and product managers.
- Effective organizational skills within an agile environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
- Problem-Solving Oriented: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate research findings into actionable insights and understand problem's roots.
- Adaptability: Stay current with the latest research techniques and tools and adapt to changing environments and priorities.
- User Advocacy: Act as the user's voice within the organization, ensuring user needs are considered in all decisions.
