Where will you be in the organization?

The department / team

This resource will join a team of IT professionals involved in the delivery and maintenance activities performed by the shared services team of and for the AXA Group.

The function will be integrated in the product support teams, working closely with the local and global teams covering:
  • Management of systems, database and network
  • Application maintenance and support
  • IPC process management
  • Project management
  • QoS and governance

The main activities addressed by the teams include:
  • IT Infrastructure support for AXA Business and Development teams
  • Technical activities:
  • Production support and IT Service delivery
  • Support development & maintenance of AXA Applications

These teams oversee the Product life cycle, from studies to the final delivery and solution maintenance. The most powerful levers to achieve this can be summarized as Innovation and Execution that will drive the Operations teams:
  • Innovation: To create and provide the prerequisites and opportunities for all AXA teams to develop leading innovative solutions for the needs of our current and future customers
  • Execution: To create an environment which allows our teams all over the world to bring their ideas to reality and make our strong promise to the customers happen

About the job

Main missions

As an experienced IT Production Consultant, the candidate will join an existing technical team and his role will require:

  • To be fully responsible for Backup platforms
  • Part of the project team for future backup solution
  • Improvement and extension of operational system stability and performance
  • Creation and improvement of operational guidelines, implementation guidelines and work instructions and necessary documentation
  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog based on business value and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality backup solutions.
  • Analyze and understand industry trends and customer feedback to continuously improve our backup products.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and recovery processes are robust and efficient.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Monitor and report on product performance and customer satisfaction.

Expected skills & experience

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Experience

Minimum of 3 years significant experience in IT Production (Backup expert/Architect)

Technical skills

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in IT Backup solutions
  • Cloud knowledge: Security, Networking, AWS, Azure
  • Commvault solutions knowledge
  • CMX archiving tool knowledge is a plus
  • Scripting skills and automation. (Korn shell is mandatory, power shell is a plus)
  • Strong general knowledge in IT and Datacenter infrastructure architectures
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience in a backup environment
  • Knowledge in Windows / Linux / Vmware
  • Good reporting skills
  • Ensure security is always a priority one: audit, vulnerabilities remediation, support patching
  • Ensure service levels meet requirements. Propose and implement action plan when required
  • Strong understanding of backup and recovery technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Autonomous, teamwork spirit and "self-organized working", respectful of the process.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and technologies, and to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Upper intermediate level of written and spoken English is a must.
  • French/Dutch speaking would be appreciated.
