Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to oversee our strategic relationships with hyperscaler/Colocation data centre clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the data center industry, strong sales acumen, and exceptional account management skills. This role is crucial in ensuring our hyperscaler/Colocation clients receive unparalleled service and support, driving growth and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hyperscaler/Colocation data center clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Understand client needs and objectives and develop tailored solutions (One-stop shop - New equipment (Chillers + airside) / Controls & Services) to meet their specific requirements.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and providing ongoing support.

Sales and Business Development:
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop new accounts: get the tenders, study the project and build the offer. Negotiate and convince the clients to win.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross selling our products and services within existing accounts.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies.

Project Management:
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services.
  • Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project status and milestones.

Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on account status, pipeline, opportunities, SoW status, decision making process mapping.
  • Analyze account data to identify trends, products' gap and technical needs.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Close collaboration with products champions and Vertical technical team.

Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics.

Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and build relationships.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; A basic technical knowledge of HVAC systems is a nice-to-have, but not a must.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the data center or technology industry.

- Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts, closing deals & achieving sales targets.

- In-depth knowledge of hyperscalers, cloud service providers, and the data center market.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business solutions.

- Excellent project management and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel (up to 30%) as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
