Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in derivatives, hedging, and regulatory compliance. You will lead the analysis and delivery of IT solutions within our global Derivatives program, translating complex regulatory requirements (EMIR, MIFID, FinFRAG, MAS, Dodd-Frank) into effective system, process, and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Manage IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring progress, issue resolution, and adaptabilityRisk & Compliance:
  • Evaluate risks and ensure alignment with global regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and IT teams to define scope, goals, and communicate updates. Team Coordination: Guide and support junior analysts in system analysis, testing, and implementation.
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives and promote best practices for smooth transitions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor market and tech trends to recommend process and system enhancements.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Co-develop tactical and strategic plans to optimize processes and resources.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build trusted relationships by addressing stakeholder needs and concerns.
  • Coaching & Training: Share expertise through training and mentoring across the organization.
  • Expert Guidance: Provide specialized advice on regulatory and derivatives-related policies.
  • Organizational Design: Contribute to defining team structures and roles aligned with broader business goals.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent).
  • 7+ years in IT Process & Analysis, ideally in Derivatives/Commodities trading.
  • Strong knowledge of Risks, Derivatives systems, and global Commodities Markets.
  • Deep understanding of European, Swiss, and U.S. regulations, with ability to adapt to others.
  • Proven experience in change management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus).
