Airbus offers you a work-study contract covering both your training at the Airbus Cybersecurity School (in partnership with Ynov Campus, Toulouse) and your apprenticeship at Airbus.

This opportunity is open only to students who have completed their Bachelor: Cybersecurity analyst in the aeronautical sector (Bac +3) with the Airbus Cybersecurity School and who wish to pursue their academic journey for an additional two years with the Master's degree programme (RNCP certification level 7).

Airbus Cybersecurity School

Airbus offers you the opportunity to follow a comprehensive and immersive cybersecurity in aeronautics work-study apprenticeship programme, which means alternating between being a student of the Airbus Cybersecurity School and being part of our operational teams (Digital & IM, Corporate Security, etc.).

Your apprenticeship

An apprenticeship offer entitled "Apprentice in Cyber Security Risk Analyst (M/F)" has just opened within Airbus Commercial on its Blagnac site.

You will join a department in charge of Risk & Asset Management at Corporate Security level.

Corporate Digital Security is committed to supporting Airbus in reinforcing its cybersecurity posture & collaboration, cross-divisionally & globally according to business needs. Fulfilling its risk-based vision across all domains (IT, Industrial, Product & People), we ensure Airbus is at the forefront of the industry.

The cyber security Risks, Vulnerability & Critical Asset department ensures requirements for keeping the risk of business under their respective tolerance are communicated to the relevant cyber security functions. It ensures Airbus has capabilities to monitor the risk potentialities and raise alerts if the risk threshold is reached. The technical information is translated appropriately for dashboarding and reported to the executive level.

The objective is to provide visibility on cybersecurity vulnerabilities and drive action plans to ensure Airbus most Critical Assets protection and resilience.

This apprenticeship will start in September 2025 and will last for 2 years.

This position requires security clearance or requires being eligible for clearance by recognised authorities.

Tasks and responsibilities

You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.

You will contribute to the following main activities:

  • Collaborate with Security Governance. Department to define Cyber security risk framework and threat taxonomy.
  • Derive Cyber security risk framework and threat taxonomy into data models and share them with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain Cyber security risk platforms (notably Risk WatchTower).
  • Collaborate with other security departments to collect Risk Appetite and specific risk business tolerance.
  • Coordinate and collaborate for matters of cyber security risk across Airbus and with the authorities.
  • Collate data sources, manage and translate cyber security related risks in line with ERM.
  • Continuously follow up the security risks and escalate to the Crisis Management Department in case of major risks.
  • Drive the company-wide security risk profiling and trends identification (proactive analysis).

  • Risk exposure analysis report
  • Operational risk management report(s)
  • Security Risk consolidation

Skills & prerequisites

You have completed your Bachelor: Cybersecurity analyst in the aeronautical sector (Bac +3) with the Airbus Cybersecurity School.

You will develop the following skills:

  • Risk management
  • Benchmark / Risk watch

Language skills

  • English: advanced (as the classes are taught partly in English, candidates must have an advanced level of English)
  • French: fluent
