Responsibilities

• Design and develop features with high-quality standards and best practices, ensuring that all code is maintainable, testable and scalable
• Orchestrate complex risk calculations by applying rule sets to product economics and market model data
• Promote best practices in terms of TDD, tooling and agile ceremonies that help the team become more productive
• Actively contribute to architectural design meetings and code reviews
• Support and lead different phases of the product lifecycle including analysis, design, development and deployment
• Work as a bridge between business and technology teams to enable insights for better decision-making

Requirements

• Experience in Java development on large multi-threaded systems
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in structured environments with large teams managing large, enterprise-quality systems with rigorous quality control and demanding requirements for reliability and performance
• A high-level understanding of the financial sector, finance products and markets

Nice to have

• Experience working with Financial Risk systems, derivatives pricing or risk calculations
• Experience in commodities, hybrid inflation swaps and swaption, digital assets, LME Futures or QIS
• Experience in C++ development including multi-threading and memory management
• Experience in Python
• Experience in agile, TDD and writing test harnesses
