Job Description :

Manager in Finance Data Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management and governance of critical data elements. You will be responsible for implementing "data by design" principles to ensure high standards of data quality. Additionally, you will be instrumental in leading the newly established data steward community and animating the monthly data forum composed of data stewards. Strong organizational skills to work on multiple projects at the same time are essential for this role.

Contexte :

Define and maintain Critical Data Elements (CDE) in collaboration with the highest governance body, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards.

Oversee the appointment and guidance of Data Stewards for each CDE, providing support and training to ensure effective stewardship.

Implement and enforce data governance practices to maintain the quality and accuracy of reference data, including lists of cost centers, entities, business lines, and chart of accounts.

Collaborate with project teams to embed and apply "data by design" principles across all projects, ensuring that data considerations (modeling, quality, security, privacy) are integrated into the design phase and all along the projects.

Establish and monitor data quality indicators to proactively identify and rectify data quality issues, driving continuous improvement in data management practices, with the support of Microsoft Azure data quality tools.

Lead the newly established data steward community and animate the monthly data forum composed of data needed.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Management, Information Technology, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in data management, governance, and stewardship within a complex organizational environment, with expertise in Microsoft Azure and Power BI.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time.
- In-depth knowledge of "data by design" principles and their application to project management and data governance, leveraging Microsoft Azure capabilities.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and experience in implementing data privacy measures, utilizing Microsoft Azure's security features.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in data management (DAMA or other), Microsoft Azure, and Power BI would be an advantage.
