Our CPA department is positioned as the 'face' of the Creation Platform, proudly representing its core values and mission.
Our end-to-end teams, encompassing UX, PDA, DEV, QA, and Developer Relationship roles, strive to deliver a superior customer experience. We achieve this via the CRP portal and through various engaging activities such as customer showcases, hackathons, and more.

Your Main Responsibilities
Common accountabilities
- Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in Amadeus products and architecture. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.
- Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.
- Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.
Specific accountabilities
Develop and execute developer content strategy and draft technical documentation
- Develop and delivery of best practices, guidelines, and code samples to support development of high-quality integration
- Implement specific or new solutions leveraging Amadeus technology
- Build new creative prototypes, inspire code samples; test and use the Creation Platform and new Amadeus Self-Service APIs
- Keep the Amadeus for Developers Open-Source SDKs up to date, adding new features or fixing bugs when needed
- Suggest improvements for the Creation Platform and for Amadeus Self-Service APIs, working closely with Development teams and Product Managers
- Coordinate API Developers and Product Managers to produce best-in-class and standardized API documentation and keep them up to date
Advocacy
- Define and execute an outreach strategy for engaging and educating developers
- Represent Amadeus externally and become its ambassador to the developer community
- Support and lead the organization of workshops, meetups, hackathons, and other events targeting Developers. Prepare presentations in coordination with other team members and speak at external events
- Represent Amadeus internally, deliver presentations, speak at internal events, build relationships with multiple internal teams and stakeholders to raise awareness about the Creation Platform and the Amadeus for Developers Program, and share users feedback and learnings
Community management
- Nurture the growth of a healthy, respectful, and supportive external and internal developer community
- Identify new opportunities and potential channels to engage with the developer communities
- Connect and join multiple local developer communities and attend external events for networking
- Build relationships with influencers
- Coordinate with Marketing Content Manager to manage social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Linkedin)
Support developers and be the voice of the community to promote continuous improvement
- Support developers with issues using the Creation Platform or the Self-Service APIs, and provide solutions to get customer back on track
- Respond to questions received though online form, providing training and/or helping solve issues
- Follow up on issues posted on Stack overflow and Discord, and support overall community
- Influence organizational culture by identifying and implementing strategies to listen and act on user feedback
- Perform benchmark analysis and research about new technologies and trends. Generate strategic insights and analysis to share knowledge and best practices
Contribute to the creation of an INTERNAL Amadeus Developer Relations community
- In alignment with other teams, contribute in defining the guidelines for the creation of an internal Workforce of DevRel in Amadeus, targeting the +8,000 engineers
- Participate in the execution of the plan, by onboarding all relevant units and stakeholders
