Senior Developer- Data integration
We are looking for a Data Integration -Senior Developer who will work on data integration, mapping and data transformation needed for OnePortal project. One Portal is a new platform we are creating for our end customers of Amadeus serving as a one stop shop and serve platform. She/he will be responsible for bringing in data from different sources and integrating it in a way that supports personalization on the portal whilst applying development best practices & following Amadeus policies.

Common accountabilities:

• Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical knowledge as a data integration specialist specifically using hybrid integration platforms, PaaS like Heroku etc. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.
• Influence decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.
• Works independently within plan dictated by manager and or Solution Architect, with some guidance on most complex situations.

Specific accountabilities:

• Responsible for bringing in data from different sources/ platform, integrating it to be then used for personalization on the portal.
• Has knowledge on Middleware like Dell Boomi and PaaS like Heroku and designs and develops flows using that fits best for the functional need. Develops strategies and designs for system integrations.
• Creates and communicates integration development goals and strategies.
• Guides other junior developers in the way of working and ensuring the common rules and guiding principles are followed.
• Coordinate operations with other developers to guarantee on-time completion of integration projects.
• Ensure that the organization adheres to best practices in integration procedures.
• Checks and rectifies data configuration & overlapping conflicts.
• Keeps the corporation's integration architecture's integrity and seamless operation.
• Analyze and improve existing system integration as well as migration techniques.
• Conduct unit tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
• Optimize the code as needed based on the results of the Integration and performance/stressed tests of the software.
• Document your work; produce software documentation necessary for the application.
• Work in agile, be part of the scrum team and participate in agile ceremonies. Be the owner of your decisions and deliveries.
• Propose viable technical requirement in line with high level design/technical architecture.
• Stay upto date with new industry norms and propose better ways to improve the platform as and when needed.

Tech Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of modern client side technologies, middleware like Dell Boomi, PaaS like Heroku, and JavaScript. Technical knowledge on Salesforce Data cloud/ Data lake or a CDP will be a plus.
• Professional experience with middleware and data integration and deep understanding of how data mapping and data transformation works.
• Deep understanding of SQL and JavaScript.
• Experience delivering high quality and well-structured code.
• Familiarity with task management and wiki-based documentation tools like JIRA.
