Données / Big datad2m Services is seeking an expert in Naval Architecture/Mooring engineering in Oil & Gas projects to support the supervision and approval of the EPSCC Contractor and subcontractors' work for a FPSO (VLCC sized) conversion project.
Mission Objective:
Manage supervision and approval of mooring system activities by the EPSCC contractor, focusing on successful and timely project execution.

Mission Objective:
Manage supervision and approval of mooring system activities by the EPSCC contractor, focusing on successful and timely project execution.
Engineering:
- Supervise and approve mooring engineering activities performed by the EPSCC Contractor and its subcontractors.
- Review mooring strength and fatigue analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for equipment and hull structures.
- Ensure compatibility of mooring and hydrodynamic loads with other disciplines, such as SURF.
- Oversee mooring design, installation philosophy, riser design, and pull-in procedures.
- Supervise mooring equipment design, specification, fabrication, delivery, and transport to Angola and shipyards.
- Review installation procedures for the mooring system and FPSO hook-up.
- Monitor installation and hook-up.
- Timely review and comment on engineering documents and consolidate comments related to mooring system deliverables.
- Liaise with other engineering specialists and stakeholders as required.
- Ensure compliance with design and oversee classification approval for the mooring system.
- Manage site queries, technical queries, and non-conformance reports during execution.
- Respond promptly to engineering clarifications and technical issues.
- Report critical issues to the Hull Management team and propose remedial actions.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in Naval Architecture/Mooring engineering in Oil & Gas projects.
- Rigorous and solution-oriented approach to task completion.
- Strong organization, communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
