PRESENTATION OF THE DIRECTION

Within Group Finance, the Group Performance Management (GPM) department is responsible to coordinate a regular dialogue with the entities to (i) calibrate an ambitious and sustainable financial trajectory, (ii) monitor of its execution, and (iii) make the link/consistency between strategic, business and financial topics.

Among GPM teams, the Data & AI Office is here to accompany headquarters' teams along the transformation journey towards a data-driven and an AI-empowered entity, unlocking the value from data while managing the risks pertaining to Data and AI.

PRIMARY MISSION

As the Head of Data & AI Strategy, Culture & Communication, reporting to the CDAO, you will lead the definition and implementation of the headquarters' Data & AI Strategy, nurture and strengthen the establishment of a data-driven and AI-empowered culture, and maximize adoption by demonstrating value and sharing successes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the definition and implementation of the Data & AI Strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and reporting on its evolution and impact through the adequate Committees
  • Orchestrating the activation of the Data & AI Office Center of Excellence (CoE) to support departments from ideation to the delivery of their use cases, enriching and maintaining the Data & AI use cases logbook, and applying a client-facing and partner approach.
  • Promoting Data & AI capabilities leveraging on regular exchanges with business teams on data cartography, project reviews and data deletion project
  • Designing, building and animating the Data & AI Culture program, playing a pivotal role in raising awareness, improving skills and nurturing a data-driven and AI-empowered culture within the organization
  • Showcasing success stories through diverse communication campaigns to ensure widespread adoption and enthusiasm for Data & AI initiatives, inspiring and empowering teams to embrace the change
  • Establishing and animating vibrant Data & AI communities to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation, creating a network of business partners across the organization to drive Data & AI excellence.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role with the ability to federate and coordinate
  • Demonstrated success in communication plan set up and deployment
  • Expertise in stakeholders' management and in culture fostering
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing business or data strategies
  • Professional experience in project management and change management and capacity to lead projects on the field
  • Knowledge in data management practices, Data & AI Governance including data protection (GDPR & AI Act) and good understanding of security & data quality
  • Interest in AI technologies, notably LLM, is a plus
  • Insurance & Investment knowledge is a plus to align data strategies with overall objectives and to bridge the gap between data and business outcomes
  • Fluent in French and proficient in English (both written and spoken).

This position is an highly strategical and partner-relationship one, rather an a technical one

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Strategic Vision & analytical skills: ability to design, deploy, and adapt a strategy aligned with AXA's objectives
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, communicate to senior executives, to break the silos with tact and diplomacy
  • Proficient in change management and communication strategies to drive adoption of data and AI initiatives
  • Curious, proactive, and passionate about data-related topics, driven by the will to have an impact and bring value to the organization through data & AI
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team, strongly business-oriented

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree in Business, Communication or Engineering
  • 10+ years overall experience o Experience in a Data & AI Office team is a plus
