Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Senior DPO, you will be responsible for monitoring data protection and privacy compliance across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical or legal background, coupled with extensive operational experience.

You will work in the Group DPO team, in close collaboration with the various Worldline group departments and with the Data Protection Officer's network working in the Worldline Global Business Lines and subsidiaries.

You will report to the Group Data Protection Officer and Global Head of Data Protection, based at the headquarters.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Worldline Group Data Protection Officer to assist in monitoring major cross-functional privacy projects at both national and multinational level,
  • Overseeing the implementation of a new transfer and privacy framework across the organization with associated privacy controls
  • Overseeing reporting tools, establishing privacy dashboards, tracking privacy KPIs, and compiling the annual DPO report.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and participate in awareness initiatives.
  • Monitor ongoing privacy audit points and be involved in internal and external privacy audits.
  • Help facilitate the DPO community and ensure proper administration of the privacy function.
  • Ensure implementation of group data protection policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of the records in our tool, reporting, and responding to requests from data subjects.
  • Provide guidance and assistance in handling data breaches, ensuring swift and effective response in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to the organization on data protection and privacy matters.
  • In general, you will provide support to the Group DPO in all the various missions.

Who Are We Looking For

  • Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Certified Data Protection Officer (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, etc.) preferred.
  • Significant operational experience in data protection and privacy management. 7+ years of relevant working experience in privacy.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects related to data protection and privacy compliance.
  • Thorough knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
  • Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working experience for multinational organizations.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and advocacy skills
