The Financial Data Analyst Role

Build, enhance, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of Pigment-based models (our Finance BI tool) and dashboards (business related metrics, but also P&L, Balance sheet, Cash flow and other financial related statements)
Develop reforecast, budget and strategic plan models in Pigment
Work closely with the Pigment team to test new features, develop new models and manage ongoing maintenance
Train new users and share modeling knowledge to other team members
Animate our Pigment user community, monitor usage and adoption
Independently research and resolve data inquiries
Continue to drive automation and standardization wherever possible
Be responsible for providing guidance on best practices for design and usability
Support sales, marketing and other departments business owners
Other duties and ad'hoc projects when requested

With a strong dose of data savvy, high proficiencies in data modelling, you will partner across the different departments to craft new functionality, support user adoption, and monitor process improvements of our financial data models in Pigment. You will be closely linked to our BI team.
You thrive on a mix of technical work and collaborative problem solving. You're a strong analytical, problem solver who is versatile in working with data and logical structures.
You're a self-motivated learner with a bias to transform ambiguity into clear and concretedata models. You appreciate diversity and make sure your voice is heard when opinions and ideas are being shared. Your work will be key for top management decision making.

You will be successful in this role if

You are a data magician - you can answer business questions with data and understands finance concepts and drivers
You are able to design metrics that are actionable, aligned with business objectives and accurately measure performance to drive decision-making
You know Microsoft Excel by heart and have a high proficiency in financial modeling and BI tools (Pigment, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Anaplan
etc)
You have SQL and Microsoft Access knowledge (is a plus)
You feel comfortable in a Netsuite / Salesforce environment
You are highly analytical with good communication skills
You have proven problem solving skills
You are Fluent in English and French
You have a Degree in Finance/Management/Engineer field (Business School, Engineering School or University equivalent);
5 years of experience minimum, ideally a mix of consulting firm/audit and company experience
You enjoy working with a lot of different cultures
