As part of the APTITUDE project, which aims to conduct research on how European digital identity wallets take into account legal (particularly privacy and cybersecurity) and ethical requirements, we are recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to join our Interdisciplinary Department of Social Sciences (DI2S).
In collaboration with the project team, you will participate in establishing a state-of-the-art review of the legal requirements concerning the design and ecosystem of European digital identity wallets. You will contribute to defining the technical modalities for taking into account the requirements defined in the state-of-the-art review and their implementation. You will contribute to collective reflection and disseminate and promote the knowledge and results produced.

Minimum education and/or experience required:
- PhD obtained less than 3 years before date of hire in computer science and experience in the field of cybersecurity/privacy protection or in digital law
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Good understanding of the digital ecosystem and issues related to digital identities
- Good level of English (reading scientific literature, preparing for and participating in meetings, presenting research work orally)
- Proficiency in communicating research to a non-technical audience
- Interest in societal and legal issues
Abilities and skills :
- Strong writing skills in English and French
- Ability to communicate orally in English
- Rigorous approach
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels
- Good listener, cooperative, and open to dialogue
OTHER INFORMATION
- Travel (100% covered) is to be expected for:
- Participating in meetings organized by the APTITUDE consortium in Europe (travel on one or more consecutive days, particularly to Paris and Brussels)
- Participating in scientific events to promote research work
- Hosting conditions:
- Integration arrangements planned in the DI2S department: shared office (2 people), with direct telephone line and equipped computer workstation, participation in workshops and seminars, personal page on the IMT Atlantique website and visibility on the intranet
