More about the role & team

As the IT Infrastructure Administrator you will own large/complex development items, provide technical oversight and mentor peers.

You will form part of a global team, where you have the autonomy to drive innovation and add value where you see fit.

The key contributions for the Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator, DevOps role include participating in all aspects of the SDLC, designing and implementing solutions, and actively participating in design processes with senior team members. They will be responsible for the timely completion of quality development tasks, writing quality technical documentation, and participating in sizing, story pointing, and estimation methods. Additionally, the role includes troubleshooting issues, providing guidance for peers, and actively participating in code reviews. You will also monitor the health and performance of systems, environments, and infrastructure components, proactively identifying potential issues and generating periodic reports on system performance.

You will manage client-facing user accounts, maintain and update application servers, and perform capacity planning to accommodate client needs. The role also involves designing and implementing complex solutions, reviewing end user documentation, and establishing new patterns.

What skills and experience do I need to succeed?

You will have knowledge of core technologies, system architecture, and software development practices, and to operate independently under team run rules.

You will be an expert in core technologies, system architecture, and software development practices, and will provide mentorship to peers while upholding code base standards.

You will hold excellent Linux skills and be proficient in AWS cloud services and Terraform.

You may have worked as a "Senior DevOps Engineer" or "DevOps Engineer" in the past.
