To support this transformation, the Digital and IT department with over 300 internal and contracted staff is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join its Strategy and Architecture office comprising of 8 FTEs.
The Rôle
The Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in enabling business and IT leaders to make informed investment decisions that balance current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the long-term strategic vision of the organization.
In this role, the Enterprise Architect will provide technology guidance, roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the evolvability of the information system to guarantee alignment with the organization's overall strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with the organization's overall strategy.

Your main accountabilities will be:
- Align the IT strategy with the business strategy.
- Provides overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy.
- Build and maintain the architecture vision and transformation trajectory.
- Make sustainable choices, guaranteeing the evolution of the information system.
- Build a more integrated, simplified, and optimized information system.
- Defines, explains, and advocates technology strategy.
- Develops and communicates architectural policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Promotes the EA process, outcomes, and results to the organization and senior leadership.
- Disseminate good architecture practices and promote cross-functional collaboration.
- Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains.
- Works with business leaders to understand business requirements and help them understand how technology tradeoffs influence strategy.
- Collaborates with project management and IT leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.
- Consults with project teams to fit projects to enterprise architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the enterprise architecture.
- Develops a communication plan for architecture at the enterprise level.
- Directs the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry, and market trends.
- Ensures recommendations are based on business relevance, appropriate timing, and deployment.

But also :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ or more years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations.
- Experience in multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing key stakeholders and knowledge of manufacturing process
- French and English fluent
- Understanding of metamodels, taxonomies and ontologies, as well as of the challenges of applying structured techniques (data modeling) to less-structured sources and understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models.
- Certification in TOGAF and significant experience in enterprise architecture
- Experience in reuse and urbanization automation and in integration and/or architecture in heterogeneous technical environments
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
- Ability to conduct cross-functional analyses in a dynamic environment and work on several topics in parallel with different teams
- Knowledge and/or certification as AWS or Azure solution architect
- Data modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level.
