PRINCIPALES MISSIONS

As part of this mission, you will be required to manage the team of BEL pilots who - in close collaboration with research and development - are in charge of prototyping and technical screening on a small scale upstream of industrial tests, the acquisition of process/product technological know-how and the anticipation of industrial scale-up to facilitate implementation on our sites. You will also have the mission of managing the manufacture of small production series, as well as the direct responsibility for CAPEX investments for RID.

You will be responsible for the pilot units based in France (Vendôme and Lons Le Saunier) in the US (Brookings) as well as the implementation of our future pilot units based abroad.

In this context, you will be responsible - to guarantee quality safety, & environments standards, and - to comply with food certifications.

Your missions will be:

Team management

You will be responsible for the management and coaching of a team of ~2 5 people with 5 direct reports - 2 sites in France +1 site in the US. With, in particular, the animation of the team collective and the individual development of employees, construction of career paths, efficiency and performance of the team

Pilot capability management

In close collaboration with engineering and operations you will have for missions to:
  • Execute of the implementation of pilot hubs abroad
  • Rationalize /optimize Business - management of performance and key indicators
  • Develop Skills and work processes
  • Deploy digital management and traceability tools
  • Implement industrial transposition projects
  • Develop market test capability

Budgets and Capex Management

In collaboration with the financial controllers you will manage a budget of several million euros (overheads, fees, + flow of raw materials, fluids, fixed costs, depreciation, care and maintenance, internal re-invoicing ...)

You will have the coordination and monitoring of CAPEX for the entire RID (structuring of needs, follow-up and validation of expenses (Cash Flow), monitoring of investments.

CSR Management

You will be in charge of the follow up and management of the CSR roadmap for the Pilot operations and the facilitation of the workshop safety roadmap in connection with the COMSEC.

The research and application collective

You will be a member of the Research and Application Steering Committee with the mission of ensuring the commitment of the collaborators behind the role and mission of the team

PROFILE

Experiment
  • 10-15 years of experience in R&D or Operations with a solid technical background
  • International experience is a plus

Skills
  • Excellent technological skills, particularly in dairy and/or cheese processes
  • Managerial experience on teams of significant size
  • Easy communication
  • Ability to engage and motivate
  • Empathy and listening skills
  • Ability to lead complex multidisciplinary transformations and projects
  • Excellent quality of monitoring and execution of action plans, rigor, structuring and organization
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and manage change
  • French and English compulsory
