Who we are

• At Amadeus Reservation (RES), we are developing complex applications to serve the different Amadeus Business Units: Airline, Travel Distribution, Hospitality, with very rich functionalities from the world of travel.
• We are deeply involved in the business and technology transformation of Amadeus, participating to Nevio, Creation Platform, Mobility and the emerging Universal Distribution.
• We aim to design modular, open and re-usable components, now on a cloud-native stack, with a strong focus on architecture, security, quality and cost.

What you will do

• As an architect, you will drive the architecture vision for RES. You will be responsible for the architecture studies of RES ecosystem of applications. The existing applications are migrating to Azure public cloud, and new applications are designed on cloud-native stack.
• You will work closely with product managers, developers, devops to ensure that our solutions meet the functional and non-functional requirements of our clients. Among the many challenges, FinOps and Security are growing areas where you will contribute.
• You will also articulate the design to the component teams, by providing technical guidance, mentorship, and best practices.
• You will participate to strategical studies at company level representing RES to shape the tech vision.

What you need

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing applications
• Strong knowledge of cloud, architecture patterns, principles, and practices.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C++
• Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
