d2m Services is seeking a highly skilled Marine Advisor to support our client's operations in the oil and gas industry.
You will play a pivotal role in the design, troubleshooting, upgrading, downgrading, and modification of marine systems related to the operation and maintenance of FFPSOs.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements
Language: Fluency in English is mandatory.
Experience: Solid background in the oil and gas industry, with specific experience in FPSO, VLCC, or gas carrier operations. Previous experience as a Marine/Offshore/Gas Carrier Advisor is highly desirable.
Certification: STCW Grade II/2 (Master/Chief Mate) is required.
Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools is essential. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are crucial.
Onshore & Offshore Missions: Candidates must possess a valid medical fitness certificate, BOSIET certification, yellow fever vaccination, and a seaman's book.

d2m Services is seeking a highly skilled Marine Advisor to support our client's operations in the oil and gas industry.
You will play a pivotal role in the design, troubleshooting, upgrading, downgrading, and modification of marine systems related to the operation and maintenance of FFPSOs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert engineering and technical support for all marine design aspects, focusing on FPSO operations.
- Ensure the technical efficiency of marine and offshore operations in strict compliance with CLASS, FLAG, and all relevant international standards and regulations.
- Deliver technical support to shore-based and offshore teams to maintain the integrity and optimal performance of cargo handling, offloading systems, structural components, and mooring systems.
- Actively participate in the planning and execution of long-term integrity programs for cargo systems, hull structures, and mooring arrangements.
- Offer immediate technical advice and solutions during breakdowns, as well as during routine and extraordinary maintenance or inspection activities on marine equipment, ensuring the continuous availability of the sites.
- Support hull inspections and manage Underwater Inspection activities.
- Contribute to the investigation of equipment failures or HSE incidents, providing detailed technical insights as required.
- Review and analyze Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports related to project failures and incidents when necessary.
- Estimate, optimize, and propose improvements to work activities to ensure compliance with project schedules.
- Evaluate and approve Management of Change requests in collaboration with the HSE department, ensuring all safety and regulatory aspects are considered.
- Provide expert guidance on marine equipment maintenance strategies and spare parts management, supporting various projects across the organization.
- Assist in establishing critical vendor and subcontractor service agreements, including defining detailed scopes of work.
