Responsibilities

Technical Support: provide first-line support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues that users encounter. This includes troubleshooting problems, guiding users through steps to resolve issues, and escalating more complex problems to specialized IT personnel when necessary.

Maintenance and Updates: updating software to the latest versions, applying patches, and performing routine checks and optimizations on hardware and network systems. Installing new hardware in the Bank's offices.

Asset Management: Keeping track of all IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and subscriptions, ensuring that records are up-to-date and that the organization is compliant with licensing agreements and regulations. Performing physical inventory of IT assets

User Training and Awareness: Educating users on best practices for using IT systems and maintaining security. This can include training on new software, awareness about phishing and other security threats, and tips on creating strong passwords.

Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. This documentation is vital for knowledge transfer, compliance, and efficient resolution of future issues.

Continuous Improvement: continuously seek ways to improve IT services and operations. This involves staying updated with the latest technologies and best practices in IT support and maintenance and recommending upgrades or changes that could enhance system performance and user satisfaction.

Skills

Must have

Ability to work in a global team with both global and regional responsibilities

Troubleshooting experience in various versions of Windows and Unix systems with basic scripting skills

Knowledge of any of ticketing tool ( like ServiceNow)

Customer Service Experience

Previous experience on this kind of role

Understanding on hardware, software, network

Good communication in French and English
