The product & innovation manager is responsible for defining the strategic positioning of the line of business in its market. Main activities include:
- Defining the local go to market and growth strategy per BU and execution of it to ensure BU reaches its top line growth ambition as per PD
- Sales steering for the BU to ensure efficient MDDR prospection pipeline is in place and support to strategic tenders
- Analysis of local market trends and untapped needs and definition of corresponding opportunities to support the growth (product, sales channels etc)
- Orchestrate transfer of knowledge and best practices within the market and as part of the global team
- Lead the implementation of new value propositions through orchestration of cross-functional teams (UW, Ops, OM, Network, Legal etc)
- Support and spearhead strategic and innovation initiatives within the Line of Business
What you do :
Growth strategy and Go to Market
- Define strategic position and roadmap of the line of business in the corresponding markets based on existing portfolio, market condition and overall company strategy
- Define, steer and execute the local BU specific go to market and growth initiatives supporting the overall growth ambition
- Identify any growth gaps vs financial targets and support on building remediation plan to bridge the gap
Product planning
- Develop and enhance products to target new market segments or enhance value proposition in existing segments
- Lead cross-functional teams towards the local implementation of new products and innovations (typically including Operations, Networks, IT, Sales, Technical Product, Underwriting/ Pricing)
- Monitor customer satisfaction and product utilization and deducting improvement in customer experience
Sales support and enablement
- Lead the value proposition shaping and product proposition on local tenders and sales opportunities
- Support generation of new sales leads and building prospection plan
LOB strategy and innovation
- Support and spearhead key strategic initiatives within the Line of Business
- Lead innovation initiatives related to product, technology, tools, partnership etc
Market & Customer research
- Monitoring market trends, client needs (end customer and distribution partner) and competitive developments for services, assessing market sizes and shares and deduce a corresponding action plan

What you bring
Profile :
- 5+ years' experience in Marketing, Sales, Underwriting / Product development or Market Management, ideally in the financial services industry
- Background in consulting is a plus
- Experience in leading cross-functional project teams in complex organizational set-ups
- Experience in developing and executing a strategic market positioning for a line of business
- Market knowledge and Customer Research
- Strategic MM Techniques
- Understanding of corresponding Assistance and Insurance Products
- Operational MM Techniques
