Job title of the line manager: IT Center Manager Title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To support the business lines from initial expression of need through to the launch of the project or development. To manage development implementations. To anticipate new projects and take them through to maturity by raising awareness of the contribution made by technologies and forward analysis of business processes. To contribute functional expertise as a proactive project stakeholder

Scope of activities

Perform some or all of the following activities:

Functional expertise within his/her functional area
Advise on optimizing the use of tools and systems in place
Describe the user need by defining the "why" of the request and desired changes in the future information system
Define the functional solution by describing the proposed solution in specifications responding to user needs
Check the consistency of the application and functional architecture and its development
Participate in the assessment and selection of a software package
Manage the internal (or external) project management responsible for developing the necessary adaptations and taking charge of the stages prior to commissioning
Control the acceptance, configuration and production phases
Control the quality by verifying that the delivered product corresponds to the need expressed
Manage changes while respecting Quality, Cost and Time commitments
Be responsible for the delivery of projects by acting as the interface between business and the Project Manager
Participate in design of the support plan

Activities need to be adapted for employees on work-study placements (professionalization contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to be in line with their training.
