Licorne Society a été missionné par une startup en pleine croissance pour les aider à trouver leur DevSecOps.

About the role

Due to continued growth, we are searching for a DevSecOps Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our production and development environments.

In this role, you will be hands-on in managing AWS- and Kubernetes-based infrastructures handling sensitive financial data, overseeing security best practices, and ensuring compliance. You will also lead security initiatives and incident response efforts, leveraging tools such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Datadog SIEM.

Working closely with the existing SRE, as well as Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer Support teams, you will design solutions that maintain system stability, cost-effectiveness, and a best-in-class platform experience for both internal and external stakeholders. A key part of your mission will be to develop a long-term technical security strategy to guide secure operations.

This role is open to full remote for candidates based in France.

What you'll do:
  • Own Security & Compliance: Drive security best practices, maintain compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001, propose new security measures, and support audit processes.
  • Manage Cloud & Kubernetes Environments: Oversee AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters, focusing on high availability, performance, cost optimization, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strengthen Observability: Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting strategies to proactively address issues, leveraging Datadog and related tools.
  • Enable Development Teams: Advocate for DevSecOps principles, improve CI/CD pipelines, and promote secure development practices across teams.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Product to align on security and reliability for new features, support the Data and Customer Support teams on user issues, and work alongside the SRE on cross-functional goals.
  • Lead Incident Response: Investigate production incidents, analyze root causes, and improve incident response processes to reduce disruption.
  • Drive Future Projects: Identify and lead security enhancements and strategic initiatives, recommend relevant AWS services or tools aligned with best practices and business needs.

What's in it for you
  • Full ownership of security practices and tooling within Engineering
  • A brand new, high-impact role with room for growth
  • Collaborative, flat structure where all voices are heard
  • Opportunities for career progression within a scaling organization
  • Flexible remote work policy
  • Work alongside experienced, senior engineers
  • Inclusive and diverse workplace culture
