JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Senior JDE Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications within the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JDE development best practices, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

In his/her main activities, the Senior JDE developer will be asked the following:

• Application Development: Lead the design, development and implementation new applications and enhancements to existing systems using JDE EnterpriseOne toolset. Perform complex customizations and integrations within the JDE platform.

• Best Practices: Establish and enforce development best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

• Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

• Integration: Oversee system integrations with other third-party systems and applications and ensure data integrity across platforms. Conduct assessments of existing JDE environments and recommend enhancements to optimize performance and functionality.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest JDE technologies and recommend improvements to existing processes and systems.

• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent English speaking

• Ideally French speaking (basis)

• 5+ years experience in JDE Enterprise One development with a proven track record of successful implementations.

• DB2 experience would be a plus

• Strong understanding of database management systems and data modeling concepts.

• Proficiency in JDE development tools (RDA, FDA, C programming), BI Publisher, and JDE Orchestrator, C, C++ & SQL

• At ease with multicultural environment: able to get along with people of different cultures, origins and lifestyles

• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, and automated testing

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solution

• Reliable and responsible
