Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyze and mine data from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.
• Develop dashboards and generate actionable insights from datasets.
• Ensure data quality and prepare data for analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
• Work closely with business users to translate their needs into structured data solutions.

Data Management & Engineering

• Implement and automate data pipelines between various data sources.
• Ensure efficient data extraction and transformation.
• Develop and maintain ontologies for effective data governance and management.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with business owners, IT architects, and product owners to meet data analysis requirements.
• Document methodologies and procedures for data analysis workflows.
• Provide internal training on best practices and tools for data analysis.

Technology & Market Monitoring

• Benchmark data analysis tools and technologies based on use cases.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in data analytics technologies.

Cross-Departmental Coordination

• Support the FAS R&D roadmap in Data Analysis.
• Coordinate technical aspects and ensure synchronization across departments.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working on data analysis projects involving large datasets and big data technologies.
• Solid background in statistical analysis, data visualization, and data wrangling techniques.
• Practical experience with data processing tools and frameworks like Pandas, NumPy, and basic distributed computing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Palantir) for data storage and processing.
• Experience using SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data extraction and analysis.
• Proven track record of producing actionable insights through data analysis and reporting, supporting decision-making across departments.

Skills and competencies:

• Strong analytical thinking with a structured, problem-solving approach.
• Knowledge of data analysis techniques, including statistical analysis and data visualization.
• Familiarity with big data tools and technologies, including basic experience with distributed computing.
• Proficient in Python, with expertise in data manipulation libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization tools (e.g., Vega).
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as Palantir, Azure for data storage and basic processing.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and quality management.
• Process-oriented with solid documentation skills for clear and effective reporting.

Languages:

• Mandatory: French/English (B2/TOEIC 750 minimum).
• Optional: German / Chinese
