Information Security Senior Manager
Summary:

Join us as an Information Security Senior Manager to support and augment the Deputy CISO's overall responsibilities by defining and directing the entire cybersecurity program across various Business Units at Amadeus. You will provide leadership, executive support, strategic vision, and tactical guidance to ensure the effective and regular management of cybersecurity initiatives. Your role will involve consulting on the strategic planning and execution of security initiatives, projects, applications, operations, and financials, ensuring that business decisions are facilitated using sound security principles and supporting corporate security policies and plans.

In this role you will:

• Implement an oversight and review program to promote effective management and collaboration between the Group CISO office and each Amadeus Business Unit.
• Represent the Group CISO office and Deputy CISO while interacting with leaders and representatives of other technology and business groups, providing guidance on security strategy and resource planning.
• Work closely with the Deputy CISO and the Business Security Officers (BISOs) to ensure alignment with Group CISO objectives, manage business risks, and respond to the needs of individual Business Units.
• Define and lead key performance indicators (KPIs/OKRs) and metrics approved by the Group CISO, delivering results to non-technical teams in comprehensible terms and creating regular review cadences.
• Collaborate with the Deputy CISO to build the vision and communicate on the security technical, organizational, and financial strategy, optimizing services and aligning with Group CISO objectives.
• Act as an active member of the CISO office, building relationships with various CISO office teams and working closely on projects and initiatives across Business Units.

About the ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in IT, specifically within Information Security, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with business judgment.
• Experience in international and multi-cultural contexts.
• Previous experience in team management.
• In-depth understanding of Amadeus' security needs and a commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service.
• Ability to understand the company's strategy, business model, and organization.
• Demonstrated understanding of risk management, capable of navigating challenging conversations with leadership teams, and driving risk-based decision-making.
• Knowledge of industry information security and privacy standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in Cybersecurity, Audit & Quality, and Project Management.
• Professional-level proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish or French is a plus.
• Certifications such as Information Systems Security, ISO27K LA, CISSP, PMP, or equivalent knowledge/experience/interest.
